Propulsion System:
- As a result of considerable development work and numerous tests, we invented and now produce our unique skewback six-blade propeller. It is made of DuPont™ Delrin® acetal resin, a highly versatile engineering polymer
- Our skewback six-blade propeller generates less cavitation, which, in addition to the carefully chosen hydroacoustic design, results in great noise reductions
- With blade tips swept back against the direction of rotation, while bending rearward in reference to the longitudinal axis, our propellers generate “ahead†thrust which almost coincides with “reverse†thrust, i.e. the thruster system is reliable for maneuvering in both directions
