PoseidonMarine® premium-quality trim cylinder cap kit for Volvo Penta:

The aforementioned drives may use two types of cylinder housings, especially the DP-E and DP-G models. As a rule of thumb, if the diameter of your cap is 39.45mm over the thread, then the whole cylinder has imperial threads. The majority of 3860881 cylinders do have metric thread, however a small proportion of them are threaded in inches. If yours is such, then this is the right kit for you.

PoseidonMarine® trim ram cap kit comes with pre-installed dust and pressure seal, bidirectional ring, O-rings and a new cap. The cylinder assembly is used only for guidance and is not included.
There are similar repair kits on the market that are faulty in design. The thread was not correct and as a result, the cap could be screwed by 3/4 of the thread. We used to sell these faulty kits, but thanks to your comments, we designed the cap from scratch as per the OEM and we guarantee 100% perfect fitment. Additionally, we improved the material of the bidirectional seal so that installation is easier and durability is highly increased.
